habitat and range
The snow leopards habitat is high rugged mountains. The high rugged mountains are located in China, India, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Pakistan. They usually found at 3,000 to 5,400 feet above sea level. They choose places to live where they are covered up so things can not see them but they can see clearly. This makes it hard for the pray to see where they are but they can sneak up on them. They are constantly moving around there home for hunting and leaving marks to make sure that no cats come into their area. Their homes are an important part of their survival.
