reproduction and young
Snow leopards reproduction is essential for their survival. They reproduce by mating with another snow leopard. With that comes cubs which are expected to be born in spring. To set up for the cubs arrival the mother will find a den to have them. If they don't mate then they can't reproduce and then it is hard for them to not be extinct. The snow leopards life is tougher than ours because the snow leopard needs to hunt for food and if it does not get food it could die or extinct! The protection the snow leopard has is camoflauge. The snow leopard has camoflauge by the spots on his fur and uses it to blend into a tree. The snow leopard protects its young by making the cubs stay close to the mother while the father is hunting. The mother also protects her cubs by teaching them how to hunt so when a predetor trys to attack it it will some times use its hunting techniques.
